“Haircut or Highlight Service"


For the respect of others who are receiving relaxing hair services, we request that all cell phones be placed on silent. If you are expecting a phone call that requires your attention and may take longer than necessary, please take your call outside, otherwise please revert to using text messaging. 


We understand you may see your time in our studio as catch up work time, but please be aware that we have created a relaxing environment for those to escape the hectic work life and forget about their day.
So please relax, enjoy our hospitality and take this time to "Shut Down”.

our time together is about you

we really do love kids, we just feel our studio is not the place for them

To maintain a relaxing environment and timely schedule, we ask that you please notify us when bringing your children, as our Studio is not child-friendly. In addition, we have limited seating and need to have that available for our clients who have an appointment. We do apologize for the inconvenience. We prefer you to leave them at home unless another adult accompanies them. If your child or children cannot behave in a well-mannered fashion in the Studio, we will have to reschedule your visit for another time when convenient.
Children under 18 years of age are welcome by appointment as long as the parent is already a pre-existing client.
However, please understand appointments for children are not always a priority, as our studio is structured around adults.
Children will be charged the same rate as adults as we do not have child prices available, and their parents must accompany them during their haircut service.
In the best interest and well-being to promote healthy hair,
we feel it is best not to perform any color services for children under 18yrs of age.
If the parent requests a color service for their child, they (the parent) would need to sign a release form that would absolve us from all responsibility if the child is not satisfied with the color result. 

We take the same care and time for each appointment, so children must be able to
sit appropriately for the time it may take to perform the haircut.

what we stand behind

Your appointments are very important to us at James Mac Studio, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive a services.
Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply if failer to commit to your service or appointment.

Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

Please understand that it is also your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and cancellation fees.

In the event that you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will cancel one or more of the services intended for that day. Canceled Service or Appointment will be re-scheduled to the next availability, resulting in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
