     Starting this January 2023, James Mac Studio will require a ฿2,000 deposit when you schedule an appointment with us.
However, asking for a deposit was a difficult decision, but we felt it necessary even though and understand it may cause inconvenience to some, especially those visiting Thailand.
But unfortunately, it could not be avoided moving into the new year due to our experience of lost time due to late arrivals, an empty chair due to forgetfulness, and last-minute cancellations.
So again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and genuinely hope you will understand our reasoning moving forward into 2023.

This last year of 2022 was a unique learning lesson for us as we noticed many changes in customer relations - particularly when scheduling and maintaining appointments. Over the past 16 years of operating our business, we have been more than flexible and highly understanding to provide the best customer service a two-person show can provide.
Our goal is our commitment to excellence to maintain our reputation in customer satisfaction and to continue to provide our best quality service for your hair needs here at James Mac Studio.

We ask you to please be mindful of your time when scheduling your first or next appointment with us.

As a consideration, we have listed a few things to be mindful of:


  • Take it upon yourself to Add your Appointment to your Calendar.

  • Turn Calendar Notifications On!

  • Be mindful of the Time of your appointment. If possible, come in 15 minutes before your appointment.

  • Avoid Scheduling other necessary Appointments too close to your hair appointment to allow us adequate time to take care of your hair needs.

  • Avoid continuous Rescheduling of your Pre-Booked appointment to avoid confusion and Rescheduling fee. 

  • Have your photos ready before your visit. Create an Album in your Phone App if necessary for quick and easy reference.

  • Please use the BTS & MRT Public Transit System to avoid late arrival due to heavy Bangkok vehicle traffic.



As a courtesy, we will contact you to confirm your scheduled appointments a few days before by e-mail, phone call, or text.
However, if we cannot reach you within 24hrs before your appointment, your appointment will be canceled.

Please understand though it is a courtesy, it is also your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and cancellation fees.

As a courtesy, we will contact you to confirm your scheduled appointments a few days before by e-mail, phone call, or text. However, if we cannot reach you within 48hrs before your appointment, the appointment will cancel.
Please understand though it is a courtesy, it is your responsibility to be mindful of your appointment and take the initiative to record it on your mobile device to the “Calendar & Reminders Application" so that you may be punctual.

A ฿2,000- deposit is required when scheduling an appointment. 
The Deposit fee will be credited towards the service on the day of your appointment. If you decide to CANCEL the appointment for any reason, the Deposit fee is
non-refundable

 What can be deducted from the  
฿2,000- deposit:

  • Late Fee - ฿500-  

  • Rescheduling Fee - ฿1,500-

  • Cancelation Fee - 50%

We recognize that a variety of our clients have hectic lifestyles, and other obligations may interfere with your plans to have a hair appointment with us.
Clients who continue to reschedule their appointment multiple times are sometimes unaware of how much time and energy it takes to move mountains to fit them into an already busy schedule.
Therefore to help avoid this, we have implemented a rescheduling fee.
First, time is on us, the second time, and after that is on you.

Rescheduling fee - ฿1,500-

Your appointment is essential to us at James Mac Studio, and it is reserved especially for you. However, we understand that sometimes, schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request you contact us 48hrs before rescheduling your appointment.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving us enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time slot, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.
As a courtesy, we will contact you to confirm your scheduled appointments a few days before, as we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.
That being said, it is your responsibility to be mindful of your appointment and take the initiative to record it on your mobile device to the “Calendar & Reminders Application" so that you may be punctual.

Cancelation fee of 50% will be applied based on the amount of the reserved service. 
for example a
hair cut & root color service
is  ฿8,500 - 50% = ฿4,250- 

Failure to commit or
“NO SHOW ”
clients will be charged

of the reserved service amount upon their next visit.

Due to the nature of our business and scheduling commitments
to other clients, we must try every effort to stay timely.
Therefore, we ask our guests to come 15 minutes early before their scheduled appointment.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, we will deduct ฿500- from your ฿2,000- deposit. Depending on the time of your arrival may result in the possibility of canceling one or more of your intended services in order for us to maintain a timely schedule. 

Resulting in a cancelation fee of 50%.

client satisfaction

Upon leaving the Studio after your appointment, we will acknowledge your satisfaction with the service that we have provided. If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with the service provided, please inform us before leaving the Studio so that we may have the opportunity to correct any issues at that time. However, if you left happy and returned home only to discover that you are unsatisfied with our cut or color service, please notify us within seven days of your visit. Otherwise, any additional changes after that on a later date will be considered a new service and are subject to additional fees.

refusal of service

Our professional opinion comes from respect for you and our many years of experience. The moment our clients leave our Studio, our reputation goes with them. Our responsibility is to ensure the best quality service for your hair needs to the best of our ability. We feel it's just as important to focus on the hair quality as much as the client's request for image and style.

We reserve the right to refuse service that other salons have provided continually, at the expense of your hair's health, resulting in prolonged damage and distress to your hair.

We are happy to suggest alternative methods so that we may be able to achieve a far better outcome that is less damaging so that we may be able to correct the past history to move forward to a future of healthy, beautiful hair.

We also reserve the right to refuse service to any client if they continue to neglect appointments, behave ill-mannerly, or disrespect other clients or us.
