James Mac Studio Policy

Your appointments are very important to us at James Mac Studio, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.
Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.
Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will be applied.

We require 24-hours notice for cancellation of an appointment.
Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of
the reserved service amount.
Failure to commit or “NO SHOW ” clients will be charged 100% of
the reserved service amount upon their next visit.

Our Studio Hours: 9 am to 7 pm
Wednesday to Sunday
Closed Mondays & Tuesdays
Last Hair Cut at 7 pm
Last Hair Color Service 6:30 pm
No Highlight service after 7 pm

estimated time frame

Hair Cut Service 1 to 2hrs.
Color Service 2 to 4hrs.
Highlight Service and Color Correction 4 to 9hrs.

payment options

We accept Visa, Master, and Debit Card, Bank Transfers, and Cash (Thai Baht).
There is a bank fee of 3% that will be added when using your credit or debit card.
Bank Transfers are welcomed as long as they're from local Thai Bank and there is no added fee when using this service.

confirmation

As a courtesy, we will start to confirm your appointments two business days before your appointment date by e-mail, phone call, or text.
However, if we are unable to reach you, you will have up to 24hours before the date of your appointment to confirm.
If we do not hear from you or we are still are unable to reach you within 24 hours, we will have to cancel your appointment.

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time. To avoid late arrivals missed appointments and cancellation fees in the future.
Please manually log your appointment into your smartphone calendar app and create a reminder that notifies you 24 hours before your visit with us. 

re-scheduled

We are very understanding when it comes to the unforeseen. However, we ask our clients to understand our schedule is not always capable of being flexible. If you are needing to re-schedule your visit, please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate your request for a specific date and time upon re-scheduling your appointment.

timely schedule

Due to the nature of our business and scheduling commitments
to other clients, we must try every effort to stay timely we ask
our guest to come 15 minute early prior to their scheduled appointment time. In the event that you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will cancel one or more of the services intended
for that day. Canceled Service or Appointment will be re-scheduled
to the next availability, resulting in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

client satisfaction

Upon leaving the Studio after your appointment, we will acknowledge your satisfaction with the service that we have provided. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the service that has been provided, please inform us before leaving. If you left happy and return home only to discover your not satisfied with our cut or color service, please inform us within 7 days of your visit. Otherwise, any additional changes at a later time or date may be subject to additional fees.

requesting color formula

James Mac has spent years perfecting his knowledge in the world of professional hair color. Attending a verity of courses and always challenging himself to improve his methods when formulating color for each clients hair color needs. With 20yrs of experience and his expert ability to determine the right color formulation that will achieve what he feels to be for the best result for each client. Whether his clients are receiving a root color or a highlight service. James will use his signature technique to formulate and combine a multiple of shade to create a surprisingly natural result that is designed to blend with each client's natural color.
At James Mac Studio, our signature color formulation is our secret when creating and developing our reputation and our craft as a professional stylist's. When we create a formula for our clients, it comes from years of knowledge and education. We do not believe in giving our clients their color formula as we feel it should not be necessary if they are planning to maintain their color with another professional stylist. The color formula is something we created for our client's and belongs to us. We are not obligated to give away our secret to our achievements and what has helped to develop our reputation.

refusal of service

Our professional opinion comes from respect for you and our many years of experience. The moment our clients leave our Studio our reputation goes with them. It is our responsibility to ensure the best quality service for your hair needs to the best of our ability. We feel it’s just as important to focus on the hair quality as much as the client’s request for image and style.

We reserve the right to refuse service that other salons have provided on a continual basis, at the expense of your hair quality, resulting in prolong damage and distress to your hair.

We are happy to suggest alternative methods so that we may be able to achieve a far better outcome that is less damaging so that we may be able to correct the past history to move forward to a future of healthy beautiful hair.


We also reserve the right to refuse service to any client if they continue to neglect appointments, behave ill-mannerly or disrespectful to us or to other clients.
